Description

The Univox Jazzman JM115 is a polyphonic 61 key keyboard was made by Crumar in Italy and was introduced in 1974.The instrument allows the two low octaves of the keyboard to have their own level control for additional bass tone which can be blended with the upper three. It was manufactured for approximately 3 years and was a very popular electric piano instrument in the 1970's.

The front panel provides a variety of organ style switches and and faders for manipulating the sound. The unit also features for piano and percussive effects as well as vibes sounds. The sliders allow the player to create a wider spectrum of sounds from short hits to long sustaining chords. The Jazzman has a dirty harpsichord sound.

Velocity As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. Aftertouch Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel.
