Description

The Roland TR-626 Rhythm Composer is a 12-bit digital sample based machine developed from the TR-505. It features additional sounds and more control. It offered real-time and step recording modes, with 48 preset patterns and 48 user patterns. It’s simple matrix display showed the current pattern in a graphical representation and with 16 drum tone pads and 8 voices of polyphony, it was an advance on past models.

Velocity As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. Aftertouch Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel.
