It delivers the classic character and playability of a vintage Roland modular synth—with all the advantages of a modern instrument. And it’s surprisingly affordable, turning the fantasy of finally owning one of these legendary instruments into reality. The SYSTEM-700 and 100M modular synthesizers were nothing short of groundbreaking in their time and are revered to this day for their classic tone and flexibility. Used by pioneering musicians on numerous landmark recordings, they combined the best of Roland's analog synthesizer technology into supremely powerful modular instruments. Sought after by synthesizer enthusiasts around the world and beloved by those lucky enough to own one of the originals, these vintage Roland instruments are almost mythical in stature. With the SYSTEM-500 Complete Set, you can now own a modern version of these coveted classics, giving you the purest vintage analog synthesizer tones imaginable. The Gold Standard With two VCOs, two VCFs, two VCAs, two ADSR envelopes, two dedicated LFO sections, and a powerful effects module, the SYSTEM-500 Complete Set is highly flexible and extremely capable right out of the box. It opens up vast possibilities for musical exploration and sound design—and it sounds simply incredible. It's the sound you hear in your head when you think of big, warm, analog synth tone. You get the gold standard for oscillators combined with the sweet filters and snappy envelopes that make vintage Roland synthesizers so desirable. The extremely thoughtful array of CV/Gate connections and well-placed controls make it a joy to play and an ideal centerpiece for any modular setup. A Modern Classic Beautiful, powerful—and even portable—the SYSTEM-500 Complete Set is made for Eurorack, so you can easily expand by connecting to the wide-range of available Eurorack modules. Or it can neatly integrate into your existing modular setup. Its versatile wood and metal case can sit flat or tilt, and provides plenty of clean, stable power. It blends with the classic looks of the SYSTEM-500 modules creating an elegant instrument that looks as good as it sounds. You can take the whole thing with you, or neatly stack two units to build a larger, more powerful system. With jaw-dropping sound, elegant design, and top-notch build quality, the SYSTEM-500 Complete Set is vintage Roland modular for the new golden age of synthesizers. Roland SYSTEM-500 analog eurorack modules include: 512 Dual VCO The System-500 Series - 512 from Roland is a dual, voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCO offers pulse-, triangle-, and saw-waveform outputs simultaneously with 1V/octave tracking and variable pulse width via panel control or CV modulation. Each oscillator can also be synchronized to the other with a hard/soft selection switch to create unique "sync" sounds. The 512 ships with four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to an optional Eurorack modular power supply. 521 Dual VCF The System-500 Series - 521 from Roland is a dual, voltage-controlled filter (VCF) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCF offers a three inputs with level slider controls, dedicated cutoff and resonance knobs, and three modulation inputs with inputs two and three offering attenuation sliders. Additionally, each filter has a 3-way switchable high-pass filter with off/1/2 settings. The 521 ships with four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to an optional Eurorack modular power supply. 530 Dual VCA The System-500 Series - 530 from Roland is a dual, voltage-controlled amplifier (VCA) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent VCA offers three inputs with level-slider controls, an initial level knob, and three modulation inputs with dedicated level sliders. Additionally, each VCA has a 2-way switch for linear or exponential settings, LED indicators for load and overloaded signals, and two summed outputs, which combine the outputs of each VCA. The 530 ships with four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to an optional Eurorack modular power supply. 540 Dual Envelope and LFO The System-500 Series - 540 from Roland is a dual voltage-controlled envelope and a single low-frequency oscillator (LFO) in a single Eurorack module. Each independent envelope offers parameter slider for attack, decay, sustain, and release (ADSR) and includes two standard outputs and one inverse output. Additionally, the envelopes have a manual-trigger switch, a fast/slow envelope-speed switch, and a gate-trigger switch that selects whether the envelope is triggered externally/manually or cycles, which creates a self-cycle based on attack and decay settings. The LFO offers knob controls for selecting the frequency and delay, while the CV Freq input allows for voltage control over the frequency of the LFO. Additionally, the LFO offers the simultaneous outputs of five waveforms, including square, triangle, sawtooth, reverse sawtooth, and sine. The Freq Range offers a three-way switch for selecting high-, medium-, and low-frequency ranges, while the Keyboard-Trigger switch offers settings for resetting the LFO waveform by envelope 1 or 2. The Delay Trigger also resets the LFO delay by envelope 1 or 2. The 540 ships with four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to an optional Eurorack modular power supply. 572 Phase Shifter / Delay / LFO The System-500 Series - 572 from Roland is a time-based multi-effects Eurorack module that includes a 5-stage phase shifter, analog audio delay, a control-voltage gate delay, and an LFO. Offering controls for shift frequency & resonance, the phase shifter is capable of subtle to deep analog effects, while the audio delay offers independent control of delay time and resonance and creates flange- and chorus-like effects. Both the phase shifter and audio delay can be modulated by the internal LFO or via external CV signals, while the wet/dry effects mix is controllable manually or via an external CV signal. The LFO offers a knob for controlling frequency and features a triangle wave and inverse triangle wave output. The Gate Delay features knobs to control threshold, delay time, and gate for modifying incoming gate signals from other modules. The 572 ships with four rack screws and a ribbon cable to connect to an optional Eurorack modular power supply. |

Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel. |
