Korg | MiniPops 120

Description

The Korg Mini Pops 120 is an analog drum machine relased in 1976 by korg. At the time it was consdered the most advanced of their Mini Pops line of Rhythm machines. It has a manual breakbutton and controls for fade in and out, tone balance and volume control. 

It has 6 drum sounds, is solid state as well as fully analog. Plus it has 16 rhythm presets with variations and fills however no user presets or the ability to save any settings. It also offered automatic breaks and fills and rhythm and automatic rhythm change. A foot switch on the rear panel allows for start and stop control, break/fill in and fade in and fade out.

Also sold as Univox SR-120 in a different case..

Velocity As with a piano, the harder you hit a key, the louder the sound, unlike most organs which always produce the same loudness no matter how hard you hit a key. Aftertouch Pressing a key after you activated it. Channel Aftertouch, no matter which key, it will send a Channel message. Poly Aftertouch, sends the pressure per key instead of the whole channel.
