Electronic Music Studios (EMS) | Vocoder 3000

The EMS Vocoder 3000 was built and released by EMS Rehberg. EMS Rehberg is a German company that was licensed to manufacture and sell EMS products. The Vocoder 3000 has 16 filter bands each with a flexible new feature of individual control knobs for making separate settings for each filter band. It's other features are largely the same as the Vocoder 2000 The filter types are Bandpass, High Pass and Low pass.

The single oscillator is a pulse VCO that is the same design of oscillators available in other EMS synthesizers. Noise is also an audio source for mixing in with the oscillator or external audio sources.

4 available mic/line inputs are available on the front panel for inputing voice/audio plus 2 additional XLR inputs on the rear panel along with an XLR output. There are also two 1/4" outputs for pan and swell on the rear panel that are the same as on the Vocoder 2000.
